New every morning is your love, great God of light, and all day long you are working for good in the world. Stir up in us desire to serve you, to live peacefully with our neighbors and all your creation, and to devote each day to your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s Reflection

What will heaven be like? Will it just mean having fun with people we like? Hardly. It will be something far grander: “Then I shall bow in humble adoration, and there proclaim, my God, how great thou art!” We will need an eternity to try to tell God how awed we are, how grateful we are, how humbled and ennobled we are to be God’s people, and to delight in the gift of dwelling—forever!—in God’s presence.

A place of reunion withthose I love. A place where I will suffer no more physically. A place where I will be bathed in the Lord’s love and I will praise him with my entire being.
I am receiving an error message when I try to post from the email I receive which is why I did not post yesterday. I found this way to post today.
I haave been tested for CREST but I do not need the results to know that this is my issue. I am scared and disheartened.
Prayers for Ally, David, Jeremy and Scout, for improved health, finances and legal issues. Prayers for Jill and Becky as they pack for Larry and prayers for Roger’s health. Prayers for Robert’s safe travel and his ability to find a new home.

Any notion that I have about heaven is not even close to the reality. Me saying – it will be utter non-stop praise – is truth – but I can’t grasp the reality of it. I want to think that Roger will be there and I will be reunited with loved ones who have placed their faith in Christ. I would like to think there will be a time when the UR/NEM family will recognize each other and have a warm greeting. But I think we will be so overcome by God that nothing else will matter, other than praising Him. His glorification will be all that matters, all else falls away. Unimaginable to my finite brain. A zillion times better than the best moment I have ever had on earth. All thought of self will be gone – I will only consider Him. Come quickly, Lord Jesus.
It has been a wearying week, but almost to the finish line. I will be in bed early again this evening.
Julie, I pray that if this is the diagnosis, that a treatment plan will be in place and that you will be able to manage this. Praying for wisdom for your doctor/care team.
Looking forward to warm temperatures this weekend.
Will touch base with my sister tomorrow to see how things progressed today with packing up dad’s condo.
Hopefully the glitch with the email can be worked out so all can easily navigate to the comment section.
